I am in awe of what many people call nature.
My photography efforts are designed to capture moments of my relationship with the physical environment and share them with other people. It’s a form of visual therapy. Most of us could spend more time just appreciating the spectacle of wild lands and serene landscapes.
Our purpose driven lives can easily be overcome with angles and impulses, attempts to politicize or monetize our experiences. What I am asking you to do is just sit back and really be with these landscapes, these images, these moments.
My whole artistic statement is just that the Earth is furiously beautiful. No matter what your angle on life or your beliefs or your stance on all the issues facing humanity, you could probably spend more time relaxing in front of natural scenery. It probably won’t hurt anyone at all.
