Lord of the Crags
Mt. Shasta dominates the landscape. The massive stratovolcano reels my mind every time I get to see it.
This particular view is quite difficult to get to. South of Castle Crags State Park is mostly national forest land with many trails and random roads cutting through. I had spotted this vantage point on previous hikes in the Castle Crags park and planned to get up here for a while. However, there isn't exactly a trail to this spot so I had to some bushwacking. I think it was worth all the trouble. Crop suggestion: 8x32 or any 1:4 ratio.
